Fit After Pink, a Fitness Group for Breast Cancer Survivors, Brand Session in Cleveland, Ohio
Davida is a breast cancer survivor who found a need for women going through treatment and beyond to stay active, keep fit, and move their bodies after diagnosis.
She found that there were few places to go where you could find trainers and resources who were specialized in knowing what modifications to make for women who had been diagnosed with breast cancer.
So, a runner and active person herself, she created Fit After Pink. An organization to encourage movement for women in all stages of breast cancer, whether still in treatment or in recovery.
Her brand is new, and she knew that she would need the visuals for not only her website, but on social media to promote the resources and classes and groups they would have. So, we decided to do her session in two stages, one on location showing a group of women at a running group and nordic walking, and another shoot at my studio showing Davida’s face, and exercising to represent the various indoor classes that would also be offered.
Focusing on health, wellness, an active lifestyle and the need for surrounding yourself with supportive women who understand what you are experiencing, and sharing Davida’s story as the founder, were what we focused on.
In addition to the photos we took, I also created a content bank filled with ideas for social media content as well as custom Canva templates to help Davida begin creating a cohesive Instagram feed to share upcoming events and groups that Fit After Pink is hosting!
